Sarah began taking dance classes from Ms. Carolyn Farrar, since she was a toddler and she has been in love with dance ever since. Sarah has trained in studios in her home town of Olympia as well as at Premiere Dance Center. Sarah has enjoyed competitive dance and traveling to workshops around the Northwest and Canada. Sarah has consecutively won the "Dancer of the Year" title at regional competitions for the past 4 years. In 2009, Sarah placed first in all three of her solo entries (Lyrical, Acro-Contortion and Jazz) at a North American national competition. Following that she had the opportunity to compete internationally in Montreal at Dance World Cup were she placed first in Lyrical and second in Acro-Contortion. Sarah also enjoys performing and competing with her high school dance team who are well known for their State and National placements in both Hip-Hop and Jazz. Sarah's goal is to be able to perform, choreograph, teach and do whatever she can to surround herself with dance throughout her life.
