STUDENT CHOREOGRAPHY

CONTEST INFO

WHEN: 

Friday June 9th 2023​ @ 4:00 PM

Premiere Dance Center

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: 

  1. Complete & submit the participation form below by Friday May 12th

  2. Email your music to carolyn@premieredancecenter.com by Friday May 26th

  3. Present piece at live contest on Friday June 9th

WINNERS will be announced live and get to present their choreography at the 2023 PDC Recital on June 24th!

(runner ups will receive a $25 gift card to Premiere Dance Center)

CONTEST RULES/ELIGIBILITY:

  • Open to ANY current Premiere Dance Center student (ages 6-20)

  • One submission per choreographer

  • Minimum of two dancers in piece to qualify (no solos) 

  • Choreographer may choose to participate in his/her own piece

  • Suggested time limit: 2-4 minutes

  • Costume required

  • Clean, edited music and content

  • Adhere to all important dates & deadlines

  • Studio use: If you choose to use PDC studios for rehearsals, all reservations must be made through Carolyn Farrar by emailing carolyn@premieredancecenter.com.

IMPORTANT DATES:​

  • May 12th: Participation form due

  • May 26th: Music submission due 

  • June 2nd: Contest judges announced 

  • June 9th: LIVE contest & winner announcement

MUSIC SUBMISSION:​

​Please email your music file (mp3 only) to carolyn@premieredancecenter.com by May 26, 2023.
