VIDEO SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

If you are unable to attend the audition in person, we accept video submissions! First, complete the audition form and submit the $50 registration fee, then follow the Video Submission Instructions.

To submit an audition virtually, please send us digital videos or a personal youtube link following the directions listed below in each style (tap is optional.)

All submissions must be emailed to carolyn@premieredancecenter.com by June 1, 2024.

BALLET:

Please wear a black leotard, tights and hair in a bun and perform the following:

Beginners: The five arm and leg positions, arabesque 1st and 2nd (on both sides), relevé in first & retiré devant on both legs
Intermediate/Advance:
- At the barre: Plié, Tendu, Degagé, Rond de jambe, Grand Battement
- In the Center
  - Petit Allegro, including petit jeté, glissade, pas de chat, sissonne
  - 16 count Adagio
  - Center turns including pirouette en dedans and en dehors.
- En diagonal: A combination with a progression of Piqué turns and leaps.

CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL:

30 second Contemporary/Lyrical improv

JAZZ/MUSICAL THEATRE:

30 second Jazz improv, must include at least one pirouette, battement, and leap

HIP HOP:

1 minute hip-hop combo/freestyle

TAP:

Please perform a 30 second combo demonstrating your skills
